John will always hold a special place in our hearts as we were privileged enough to be able to join him and Glenys their 2009 French holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and John spent hours sitting making electric connectors to enable us to deal with the temperamental French electricity. What a time we had!! so many, laughs never a cross word,he even gave us all nicknames...himself included it was a very memorable holiday. What made hearing the sad news even more poignant was the fact we were in France when we received it and only that day had been reminiscing about times spent with John ...We will always remember John as a remarkable, witty, caring, funny man and he will be sorely missed we know by us all on the rally field ....
