What a great friend we have lost, We will always look back on the wonderful times we had with him and Glenys all because they joined the Motorcaravanners Club. They took us to their hearts and we love them for it. It was John who helped to persuade June to get Jaz our dog her passport so as we could join them on a Holiday in France. John often spoke of the time they looked after Jaz whilst we visited a Wartime memorial site and they took her for a walk, when she realized she was going over a bridge with slats and could see the water below and dropped to the floor and did a commando crawl the rest of the way. And then there was the time when we came across a freshly run over snake and whilst June was intently looking at it he gave it a little nudge with his foot so as she thought it was still alive and made her jump out of her skin. He thought that was hilarious and often reminded her. That was John all over always ready for a laugh and a joke. We will miss seeing that cheeky grin of his, but hope he finds peace now from his pain.
